The Soapbox in Action
I said that I had hoped to make a more positive post after my dig at Microsoft and EVO on one of my recent posts and so here goes!
Usually when I publish posts that applies to Microsoft products/services and/or people I hear whispers that whilst there is no public reply, it has been circulated internally and discussed. I always knew at some point David was going to respond but I was pleasantly surprised that Matt took my article on board and has made a real effort to convert the requests from the small business community in the UK and produce a series of presentations and blog posts that address what we have been asking for.
And that’s the thing, the post I made wasn’t to rubbish what what was said with regards to EVO but to stress the importance that those smaller partners in the community who don’t have the resources to convert the mid-market messages will need help addressing our small business clients.
So a big high five to PTS team for getting the small business message out there! Watch out for them at your nearest SBS Group Meeting in the next few months.
It’s now up to the partners to take what resonates with their business and use it on those clients who are willing to listen. There are many different ways in which you can do this but only you will know how, not Microsoft.
