Susanne Dansey’s Blog

Comments on and within the UK SMB Community (Formerly ‘UK SMB Girl’)

Theme change

You will notice that I’ve changed the theme to the site and have now unticked the box on the admin site so that you can contribute by commenting.

I liked the old theme, but the new one allows me to make more use of the screen and, well, I kinda like the look of it too!

I’m a girl! We’re allowed to change our minds!

  1. Hi Susanne,

I just wanted to say that I like the content and is very useful. There are lots of good blogs on the technical side but few that cover busines development issues for small business consultants. I also like Karl Palachuk’s blog for the same reason.

I’ve just read a copy of the new SMB Community Magazine (courtesy of Tom Crosbie and there was an interesting quote in there which said “A key takeaway was the realiazation by many Microsoft Managers that some SBS consultants are too technical to be financially successful”. I think this is a really important point and that we try and talk effectively to end users and potential customers. I think you’re helping us to do that.

Well, you’ve certainly caused a stir if the comments on Vlad’s blog is anything to go by! Now the comments are open on your blog so be prepared!

Important and valuable as the contributions that have been of some notable people, the answer to contuining success of this community lies with the many and not the few.

Okay, I’ve officially joined the Susanne Dansey fanclub!

    Cheers,

    Vijay

  2. Cute theme but seems inappropriate in a way for you. Very cartoonish while the content is very serious and business oriented.

  3. I like the new theme, but finding links to click on can sometimes be a wee bit taxing.

Ignore Vlad - this site should be about you - if the site makes you feel at home, stick with it!!
