Finally!: What is a UK Microsoft Small Business Specialist?

sbsc_logo_100.gif

A few bloggers (including Andy and myself) posted their thoughts about the level of awareness concerning what a Microsoft Small Business Specialist is. Hats off to Emma Cockburn, Jennifer Brinton and the web team at Microsoft for listening to the feedback from there and from the Small Business Roundtable last November which has led to a raised profile of an SBSC on the Microsoft website.

So, Mr. Customer/ End-user, you can find out why a Microsoft Small Business Specialist is important to you here and you can find your nearest SBSC Partner here.

If you are interested in the SBSC programme, you can find out more about it and how to join here.

You’ll also find pointers to the importance of using a Small Business Specialist here.

Use these links in your email signatures and for any other points of reference that can use a click-through.

Watch out for more SBSC awareness pieces in the end-user communications from Microsoft UK. :)

  2. I saw your post and quickly ran off to post my own (like a little kid at Christmas!)

Thanks for breaking the news ;-)

  3. Bravo! This was something I raised again at the Westcoast Round Table event in November - great to see our feedback has positively affected a change! :-)

  4. Yes, this is great news. It’s good to see this change, particularly in the light of the discussions surrounding the programme as per the forums and blogs. It’ll be interesting to see what else comes from MS UK and what the hit rate is on these particular pages in the next few months.
