Westcoast Small Business Forum

Not long to go until the Small Business Partner Community gets to see what Westcoast are up to with regards to supporting this market. Hopefully you’ll see us being perfect swans (calm and graceful on top but paddling like billio underneath) as we present six workshops based around customer and Partner feedback.

I’ve enjoyed pulling it together with the help of the Microsoft team at work. We’ve got a great bunch of people coming along to participate and support the day and we’ve also reserved some space at one of the local pubs the night before to make sure as much peer networking is done as possible to maximise the number of ‘things to do’ that delegates will be writing down on their action plans.

We’ve still got a few places available and it would be really good to see some new faces there. In my new role I’ve met lots of new and bigger businesses who are yet to mingle with the Small Business Specialist Community so it will be a good opportunity to chat to others about what opportunities are out there.

The workshops are built around Partner and customer feedback so no Licensing 101 but we’ve ramped it up so that it’s built around real-life case studies that relate to your businesses. We’ve ramped up every session so that it incorporates Q&A so that you can get those burning questions answered. David Overton will also be venturing back into the SMB camp to talk about how you can use your technology to support your business model (follows on from what Karl was saying) as well as think about how you can begin to plan around those due to be released in 2008.

We’ve got nearly every aspect of your business covered at least once and anything that isn’t can be raised on the day. In addition, we’ve got a few prizes such as three HP iPAQ Messengers to give away.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the 28th/29th. :)
