Did you know that it’s easier to peel a banana from the bottom up?
Never tried?
So how do you know whether what you’ve been doing up until now is the easiest way of doing it?

Hmm, interesting.
How do you go about starting it though?
Or do you mean you just turn it upside down and pull it from
bottom up? More details please..
Mike
Hi Mike,
Turn the banana upside down and pull it from the bottom up.
The banana has to be ripe though!
Susanne
How random….
how did you find that out?
I’ve got two bananas in the bag today so you know i’ll be trying it!
Andy, one thing you are going to have to accept about me is that my brain is full of random things like that. Can’t remember who told me that but it’s true.
Another fact: people tend to buy oranges that are brighter in colour even though they may not taste any better… some orange suppliers resort to colouring the skins of their fruit to encourage purchases.
and… women blink twice as much as men.
So which is the bottom? The way they hang on hooks in the greengrocer or the way they grow upwards on trees?
Perhaps the “inner” and “outer” ends, or the “attached” vs “open” might be less ambiguous.
