Delays to the release of Mac Office 2008
Looks like Mac lovers will have to wait a bit longer for the release of Office 2008.
In the run up to January 2008 when O2K8 is expected to hit the streets I’m sure the focus on this particular product line will be much bigger so it maybe a good idea for Partners to think about ways in which they can continue to build their business to accomodate it.
Talking to Martin on the Community Forum and chatting to Dave at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, it would be silly to think that other Partners aren’t already thinking about it…
… sounds like it’s worth working out exactly how SBS supports it right? With more and more people considering Macs (Intel based ‘tin’ now don’t forget!), proactive consultants need to be that one step ahead!
ALSO…
You can sync your Windows Mobile Device (including version 6) to your Apple Mac using Missing Sync.
And I don’t carry a Mac just to annoy Vlad….
O2K8 is a key update — the new file formats in particular a key to cross platform support. Entourage is the piece to watch.
Thanks Dave!
