I’m back!

Aren’t you pleased that FINALLY, your ‘uk smb girl’ RSS feed folder is refreshed with a new post from me back after completing the Flora London Marathon (boy was that tough!) and climbing 18,192ft (Kala Patthar - that’s above Everest Base Camp where there is half the air there!)

I have to say that I had the best three weeks holiday ever and I recommend that if you either get a shot at trekking in Nepal or running the London Marathon that you put all objections aside and go for it!

Moreover, I have managed to celebrate New Year twice in 2007 - it’s 2064 in Nepal so Nhu Dan Ya Bhintuna!

If you would like to sponsor me for my marathon efforts (I’m nearly there in sponsorship and would welcome your support), you can do so via www.justgiving.com/susanne - thank you in advance, and thank you to everyone who has shown there financial and moral support so far; it kept me going through the heat I can assure you!

So I’m back, and even though a bit hobbly after Sunday’s heated run round London, I’m getting excited about the year ahead…

*Kent SBS Group Update*

The Kent SBS Group has taken on a new form and is now headed up by the brave Gareth Johns who is doing an excellent job that is supported by the likes of David Tulip, Kevin Higerty, and George Flanagan - I look forward to seeing the group take itself to the next level on the back of their efforts as well as those members who are committed to the group.

We’re moving offices soon so it’s a busy time here at HQ. It’s exciting and yet hectic times here but the end result will be worth it. We’ve even got two demonstration/training facilities which we will use and are available both to our clients and partners to use.

Vlad - no need to worry about where I am! I was safe and happy washing elephants in the rivers just north of India and hunting tigers by night (that was soooo much fun!!)

Darren - congratulations at a decade at the MotherShip and thanks for letting us know some of the Borgs are human! ;)

Vijay - I never knew I even featured on the rankings! Not sure what to do with that! At least my finishing place in the Marathon wasn’t that high!

BTW: If you’re in Reading this weekend, please ignore me and my friends as we wander past… it’s my birthday and we’d be letting the side down if we didn’t sample the cheeky sherbets of Berkshire!

  1. You know you’ve made it when people start asking Vlad if you’re okay!

With Rankings come Power, and with Power comes Responsibility. Use it wisely!

    Happy Birthday.

  2. Welcome back Susanne
Sounds like you had an amazing time

Congratulations on your marathon run…Hope it’s not taking too long to recover!

  3. All recovered now - well except for the blisters!

I’m always responsible, I will be applying it when I am out drinking at the rugby! (Harlequins Vs. Sale)
