Signing off for a wee while…

That’s right folks, I’m off to distant shores for a few weeks as I embark on a new adventure. I’m off to climb to Base Camp on Mount Everest and 18,000ft high!

I know it will be hard to go on without me and some of you will struggle to deal with my absence on MSN Messenger. I won’t be just a ‘reply’ away on email, and don’t go ringing my direct line just so you can pretend I really am there by listening to my recorded message.

The only technology I’m taking with me will be my digital camera. So that’s no laptop, no MP3 player, no GPS tracker, no TomTom, no PC, no Home Server, no PDA, no xBox, no car, no mobile phone - I will be what some call a Tech-NO!

So if you’re reading this thinking ‘I wish I could do that’… then do it… nobody’s stopping you and nobody’s pushing you. If you want to be mad like me then go for it (you poor thing) or else find something that really pushes you in a direction you want to go and get it.

When I get back on a Monday in a few weeks time, I’ll be warming up for the London Marathon that takes place on the following Sunday. If you would like to sponsor my continued madness then please visit this page and help support a really deserving charity (not me!).

So no talking to strangers or accepting sweets (candy) from strange men whilst I am away…. oh and no house parties… the carpet can’t take anymore cleaning treatment!

  3. […] As most of you know, Susanne (pictured in front of her castle) has been on her vacation climbing mountains and elephants and all sorts of things. Lot’s of you have asked about her since she’s been gone and I’ve had to inform you that I’m not her daddy. So I tracked him down instead: […]
